Understanding MTN MotoWorks Shipping: U.S. Stock, U.S.-Built & Manufacturer-Direct

At MTN MotoWorks, not every product ships the same way — and not every product comes from overseas.

Our catalog includes products that are stocked in the United States, built or assembled in the United States, fulfilled through domestic partner warehouses, and manufacturer-direct specialty products.

Using multiple fulfillment channels allows us to give riders access to a broader selection of performance parts, Supermoto wheel sets, lighting, rider gear, and specialty e-moto products without limiting the store to a single warehouse or source.

Depending on the product, your order may be fulfilled through:

  • U.S. Stock
  • U.S.-Built or U.S.-Assembled Products
  • Local or Domestic Partner Inventory
  • Manufacturer-Direct Fulfillment
  • Vessel, Air Freight, or Multimodal Transportation when applicable

This guide is designed to help you understand what to expect before you order.

🇺🇸 U.S. STOCK & U.S.-BUILT PRODUCTS

A growing portion of the products available through MTN MotoWorks are already positioned within the United States.

Some products are stocked and ready to ship domestically, while others may be built, assembled, prepared, or fulfilled here in the U.S.

Depending on the product, this can mean:

  • Faster processing and transit
  • Domestic carrier tracking
  • Fewer logistics handoffs
  • No international transit period
  • Products prepared or assembled within the United States

Availability may still vary by model, color, size, fitment, configuration, and current demand.

📦 LOCAL STOCK / PARTNER WAREHOUSE

Some MTN MotoWorks products are fulfilled through local or domestic partner warehouses.

These products are already within the U.S. distribution network, but inventory may be shared across multiple channels and can change quickly.

When local inventory is available, these products can generally move through fulfillment quickly.

If availability changes before fulfillment, MTN MotoWorks may contact you with the best available option.

🏭 MANUFACTURER-DIRECT SHIPPING

Certain specialty, high-performance, limited-production, or specific-fitment products may ship directly from one of our manufacturing partners.

Manufacturer-direct fulfillment is only one part of the MTN MotoWorks supply and fulfillment network. It does not mean that everything sold by MTN MotoWorks originates overseas or ships internationally.

This fulfillment model allows us to expand access to:

  • Specialized fitments
  • Additional colors and configurations
  • High-performance components
  • Limited-production products
  • Products that may not currently be stocked domestically

Because these products travel through a longer logistics network, delivery may take longer than products already positioned within the United States.

🚢 VESSEL SHIPPING

Vessel shipping means the product travels primarily by ocean freight before entering the U.S. delivery network.

This method may be used for certain larger, heavier, or specialty manufacturer-direct products, including some wheel and tire sets.

A typical shipment may move through several stages:

Manufacturer → Export Facility → Ocean Vessel → U.S. Port → Distribution Network → Final Delivery

For certain manufacturer-direct products, vessel transit may typically take approximately 20–24 days, excluding processing time, customs clearance, weather, port operations, holidays, or other transportation conditions.

Vessel freight does not always track like a traditional domestic package.

There may be periods with limited tracking activity while the shipment continues moving through international transit.

✈️ AIR FREIGHT

Air freight moves the international portion of an applicable shipment primarily by aircraft.

A typical route may look like:

Manufacturer → Export Facility → Airport → Aircraft → U.S. Entry Point → Domestic Carrier → Final Delivery

Air freight generally moves faster than vessel shipping.

For certain products, air freight delivery may typically take approximately 7–12 days, depending on processing, customs clearance, destination, carrier transfers, and other logistics conditions.

At MTN MotoWorks, we work to use the most effective available shipping method to help get your product delivered safely and within the expected delivery window.

🔄 MULTIMODAL SHIPPING

Many international shipments are multimodal, meaning more than one form of transportation is used to complete the journey.

For example:

Manufacturer → Truck → Airport → Aircraft → U.S. Distribution Hub → Ground Carrier → Customer

or

Manufacturer → Truck → Port → Vessel → U.S. Port → Ground Carrier → Customer

This is a normal part of modern logistics.

Because several transportation networks may be involved, you may notice:

  • More than one carrier handling your shipment
  • A new tracking number after the shipment enters the United States
  • Limited tracking updates during international movement
  • More detailed tracking after a domestic carrier receives the package
  • Short pauses while the shipment transfers between logistics networks

A temporary pause in tracking does not necessarily mean the shipment has stopped moving.

⏱️ PROCESSING TIME VS. SHIPPING TIME

Processing time and shipping time are two different parts of your order.

Processing time is the time required to confirm, prepare, package, and release your order.

Shipping time begins once the product enters the transportation network.

Most orders require approximately 1–3 business days for processing before entering carrier transit.

Delivery estimates are provided to help customers understand what to reasonably expect. Estimated delivery windows are not guaranteed arrival dates.

🛞 OVERSIZED & SPECIALTY PRODUCTS

Certain products, including Supermoto wheel and tire sets, require additional handling because of their size, weight, configuration, and packaging requirements.

These products may:

  • Ship separately from other items in an order
  • Require specialized packaging or handling
  • Use a different transportation method
  • Follow a different timeline depending on inventory location
  • Transfer between multiple logistics providers

The shipping method used depends on the product, availability, destination, and the most effective available transportation route.

📍 EXPECTATION VS. REALITY

The shipping experience depends heavily on where the product is located when you order it.

A product stocked, built, assembled, or fulfilled within the United States may move through a traditional domestic carrier network with frequent tracking updates.

A manufacturer-direct product entering the U.S. through an international logistics network may travel considerable distances between tracking events.

That means:

Tracking activity and actual shipment movement are not always the same thing.

International shipments may also encounter normal logistics events such as customs processing, carrier transfers, weather, port activity, holidays, transportation capacity, and final-mile scheduling.

Our goal is to establish realistic expectations before you order so you understand how your product is expected to reach you.

📦 HOW DO I KNOW HOW MY PRODUCT WILL SHIP?

The individual product listing will provide the most relevant availability and shipping information when special fulfillment conditions apply.

Once your order enters carrier transit, tracking information will be provided.

If you have a specific deadline, upcoming ride, event, or delivery requirement, we recommend contacting MTN MotoWorks before placing your order so we can help determine the best available option.

THE MTN APPROACH

MTN MotoWorks is building a fulfillment network that combines U.S.-stocked products, U.S.-built and assembled products, domestic partner inventory, and carefully selected manufacturer-direct products.

We believe riders should have access to the right performance products, regardless of whether those products are already on a U.S. shelf, built domestically, or require a specialized fulfillment route.

That flexibility allows us to offer a stronger product selection while continuing to expand our inventory and partnerships within the United States.

Our objective is simple:

Clear expectations. Reliable communication. Safe delivery.
