DKYS DKD LCD Speedometer | 72V / 96V
14-day return window. Unopened items only.
KNOW YOUR SPEED. KNOW YOUR BATTERY. KNOW YOUR BIKE.
One bright LCD puts speed, battery level and ride data where you can see it, with big digits and clear indicators you can read at a glance.
The DKYS DKD LCD Speedometer brings speed, battery level and ride information into one compact display for compatible electric controller setups. A large digital readout and clear status indicators keep key information easy to check.
For compatible 72V / 96V applications. Match the controller protocol, display version, voltage rating and connector pinout before ordering.
Features & specifications
- Large LCD speed readout with selectable KMH / MPH
- Battery level, trip distance and odometer display
- Current, gear and vehicle status indicators on compatible systems
- Headlight, brake and error indicators
- Red indicator strip across the top of the display
- Adjustable wheel circumference and motor pole-pair settings
- Two rear-mounted setup buttons
- Brand: DKYS
- Supplier model reference: DKD-CAN-FLS
- Supplier-listed applications: 72V / 96V
- Communication: one-wire / CAN-BUS, subject to controller and display compatibility
- Supplier-listed protection rating: IP65
Available readouts and indicators depend on the signals supplied by the connected controller. Avoid prolonged immersion.
Fitment & installation
Designed for compatible electric vehicle controller systems. This is a controller display upgrade; bike model alone does not establish fitment.
Confirm controller model, communication protocol, display voltage rating, connector pinout and mounting requirements before ordering. A matching plug does not guarantee compatibility.
Supported DKD versions detect one-wire or CAN-BUS communication at startup. Automatic detection does not make the display compatible with every controller.
Set wheel circumference and motor parameters for your build to obtain an accurate speed reading. Wiring, mounting hardware or controller configuration may be required.
Setup & settings guide
061 (DKD) function settings
The display automatically identifies compatible one-wire or CAN-BUS communication at startup. It does not switch or re-identify the communication type while operating.
Entering settings
- Press and hold the left button while powering on the speedometer to enter the password screen, shown as CC---.
- Use the left button to change the digit or value.
- Use the right button to move to the next digit or field.
- Long-press the right button to exit a setting, except where noted below for code 153.
Setting codes
- 153 — Wheel circumference, motor pole pairs & offset. Enter wheel circumference in millimeters. The instruction sheet lists a default circumference of 1413 mm. After setting circumference, long-press the right button to enter the pole-pair and offset settings. The listed default is PL-28-08: 28 pole pairs and an offset of 08. For a mid-drive motor, the pole-pair setting is motor pole pairs × reduction ratio. Set these values for your actual build.
- 256 — Speed-gear display. Select -2 for two-speed gear display or -0 for normal three-speed gear display.
- 372 — Reset odometer (ODO). The instruction sheet limits this function to three resets.
- 856 — Battery voltage range. Select 48V, 60V, 72V or 96V to synchronize the battery-bar display with the selected range.
- 879 — Fixed voltage calibration. Calibrate for the corresponding 48V, 60V, 72V or 96V setting.
- 824 — Manual voltage calibration. Enter a voltage calibration value manually.
- 974 — Speed units. Switch between KPH and MPH.
- 928 — Gear indicator light. Turn off the D / N / R indicator light.
- 919 — Full-voltage & undervoltage values. The first value is full voltage; the second value is undervoltage.
Battery reading & restart
When a lithium battery uses a CAN-BUS protocol compatible with the display, the display reads battery state of charge (SOC) automatically. Otherwise, it reads battery voltage.
If a lead-acid battery replaces a lithium battery, power the display off and back on.
Calibration note: The defaults above are those listed in the supplied instruction sheet. Match circumference, motor pole pairs, reduction ratio and battery values to your build. A selectable battery-bar voltage setting does not establish the display’s electrical input rating.
