Big Glow Rock Light Kit | Battery Powered

Every kit includes one MTN 36-LED rock light, a handlebar switch, wiring harness, and mounting hardware. Your selected power source determines the battery box:

• 8-AA Battery Box: 8-AA battery holder.
• 18650 Battery Box: 3-18650 battery housing and charger.

Batteries are not included with either option. The 8-AA box requires eight AA batteries, standard or rechargeable; the rechargeable box requires 3 compatible rechargeable 18650 batteries.

8-AA battery box

• Use eight fresh AA batteries of the same type, and replace them all at once. Don't mix alkaline with rechargeable, or old with new.
• Match the + and − markings when loading. Reversed cells can overheat.
• Do not charge this box or try to recharge alkaline batteries.

18650 rechargeable box

• Use only the included charger and three matched, protected 18650 cells.
• Do not mix old and new cells, or cells from different brands.
• Inspect the cells before every charge. Do not charge cells that are damaged, swollen, or leaking.
• Charge on a hard, non-flammable surface, away from anything that can burn. Never leave the battery box charging unattended.
• Keep cell terminals away from metal objects to avoid short circuits. Do not puncture, crush, or drop the cells.

All kits

• Remove the batteries if the kit won't be used for several weeks.
• Inspect the battery box and batteries before each ride. Replace any batteries that are damaged or leaking.
• If the battery box looks swollen or feels unusually hot, stop using it and remove the batteries. Replace them before riding again.
• Batteries are not included and are sold separately.

Can I use rechargeable AA batteries in the 8-AA box?
Yes, you can. Please note that eight rechargeable AAs typically add up to about 9.6V, compared to about 12V for eight standard AAs. With the lower voltage, expect the light to be slightly dimmer and run time to differ. How noticeable it is depends on the light and the batteries. For maximum brightness, use fresh standard AA batteries.

Do I have to wire it into my bike?
No. It runs off its own battery box with no connection to your bike's main battery.

Which colors does it come in?
White, Yellow, Ice Blue and Red. Pick your color and power option from the dropdowns.

Are batteries included?
No. Batteries are not included with either option. The 18650 option includes the battery box and charger.
